About the Role:

We're looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web platform and, importantly, building a Shopify app to enhance data integration with our brand partners. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic product with a focus on community and innovative shopping, using a modern tech stack.

Responsibilities: ? Develop and maintain features for our web application using React, Next.js, and Vercel. ? Design, develop, and deploy a Shopify app that enables seamless data integration between CAKE and our partner brands' e-commerce stores. ? Work with our backend systems and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Inngest) to ensure data integrity and performance. ? Integrate with third-party services like Klaviyo, Attentive, Stripe, Clerk, and Segment. ? Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. ? Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. ? Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes. ? Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Required Skills:
? Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer.
? Strong proficiency in Typescript (ES6+).
? Deep understanding of React and Next.js frameworks.
? Experience with backend development using Node.js or a similar server-side technology.
? Solid understanding of database design and management using PostgreSQL.
? Experience building and deploying Shopify apps (essential).
? Experience integrating with third-party APIs and services (Klaviyo, Attentive, Stripe, Clerk, Inngest, Segment a plus).
? Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
? Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
? Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience (Highly Valued):
? Experience developing features for niche social networks or online communities.
? Experience building innovative e-commerce or shopping applications with a strong focus on user experience.

Bonus Skills:
? Experience with Vercel deployment platform.
? Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
? Understanding of web security best practices.
? Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Contract Details:
