Google Cloud - Principal Architect,Software & AI

Zencore is a fast growing company founded by former Google Cloud leaders, architects and engineers. We are looking for candidates that have significant experience with Google Cloud to join our team. Our engagements are designed to unblock, remove risk and accelerate timelines for customers that are migrating to Google or need help with data and application modernization. As a member of our Cloud Engineering team, you will be working with fast-paced innovative companies, leveraging Cloud as the key driver of their transformation. Our clients will look to you as their trusted advisor, someone they can rely on and who will be there to help them along their Google Cloud journey. You will be expected to cover a large spectrum of technology topics like software architecture, LLMs security, application modernization through usage of containerization, predictive and generative AI, and ML Ops.
At Zencore, a Principal Architect is a key technical leader in our engineering organization and acts as an ambassador of our technical and cloud engineering expertise. Principal Architects at Zencore are able to navigate a broad technical range but are specialized in one or more domains. They are responsible for the technical oversight and end-to-end delivery of projects within our professional services business.
What you will do...
? Working with our clients to understand their requirements and technical challenges. Using this input you will develop solutions using cloud technologies and evangelize the value of your solution to the client team.
? You will work with clients to develop estimates for the skills required and timelines to deliver Zencore projects. You should be able to turn these estimates into a clear proposal or SoW.
? You will act as the lead technical member of the project team, providing delivery and technical oversight. You are responsible for keeping the technical delivery on track and unblocking when things are stuck. While this is an architecture role, we expect you to be a hands on practitioner; you should be comfortable doing both architecture and execution.
? You will act as a mentor inside of the engineering organizations. You are expected to be an expert in your technical domain, and you should be able to teach and enable others in order to up-skill the organization.
What we need...
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent practical experience.
? Experience designing and implementing cloud native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices.
? A strong interest in working with the newest and best Generative and Predictive AI frameworks, tooling, and techniques.
? Hands on skills working with a major public cloud platform in a production setting, ideally GCP.
? Ability to go deeper than most on one or more domains - Software Architecture, Application Modernization, Generative AI, ML OPs.
? Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, AI, and Software Development
? Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex engagements.
? Strong communication skills; able to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
? Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients
