As the Pharmacy Technician - Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST

Primary Responsibilities
? Prescription requests
? Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
? Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
? Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
? Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient call
? Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
? May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
? Apply knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
? Demonstrate great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
? Act as a technical resource to others in own function
? Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
? Solve moderately complex problems on own
? Work with team to solve complex problems
? Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objective
? Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interactio
? Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
? Extensive work experience within own function
? Work is frequently completed without established procedures
? Work independently
? May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications
? Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date
? 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy
? Reside in Illinois or Iowa
? 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications
? Previous Health Care Experience
? Call-center or telephonic work
