Homeowner's insurance customer service specialist

Job Overview We are hiring a REMOTE Customer Service Representative to manage incoming customer queries and field questions regarding their insurance policy. You will process payments, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. A successful candidate would need to be have a friendly demeanor, display empathy, patience and have experience working with computers. Prior experience in an insurance related field is required to be considered for candidacy. We Are: Covenir is a company with a startup attitude with the support of a corporation. You Are: Someone with a few years of call center/customer service/office support experience or someone with a lot of experience looking to make a career change. Work with our insurance provider clients and deliver great overall customer service ? Take in a high volume of calls, communicate via email and letters as appropriate ? Document all client communication across several platforms ? Be the point person for our clients as well as their customers Qualifications: ? 2+ years of customer service experience in a call-center environment ? Prior insurance related experience ? Ability to work remotely ? Demonstrated communication, organizational and interpersonal skills ? Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office ? Strong independent problem solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: ? 4+ years of insurance experience (insurance agent license a plus!) ? Bilingual (Spanish/English) ? Associates Degree Things to know: ? Variable schedule includes hours between 830am-6:00pm EST Monday through Friday with some Saturday's required ? Open concept work environment ?
