Job Description

Amazon is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages as part of our expanding logistics team. As an Amazon Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that our customers receive their packages on time and with a smile. This part-time position is perfect for those looking to supplement their income while having the flexibility to manage other commitments.

As a part-time Amazon Delivery Driver in Illinois, you will work under 4 hours per day, delivering a variety of packages to customers. You will be provided with a company van and all necessary equipment, along with comprehensive paid training to ensure your success in the role. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.


• Possess a valid driver’s license.


• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.


• Willingness to work under 4 hours per day.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.


• Good driving record with no traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions.


• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.


• Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process.


• Handle customer service interactions in a professional manner.


• Communicate with the dispatch team to ensure efficient delivery routes.


• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water to ensure road readiness.


• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Educational Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required.
