Job Description:

Providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members is essential to maintaining a positive company image for Whole Foods Market. In this job, Team Members must strive to promote the brand's core values and goals while complying with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities: ? Consults the production sheets to prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. ? Prepares delectable food items by sticking to recipe guidelines. ? To ensure that all prepared items are fresh and of high quality, it is imperative that they are properly labeled, covered, and rotated on a regular basis. ? Tracks the food stock and ensures timely restocking to avoid shortages. ? Shows up at work station promptly, neatly presented, garbed and all set for work; fulfills all scheduled shifts and participates in obligatory training and meetings. ? Offers unparalleled customer care by attending to customers' needs promptly and effectively, and exemplifying suggestive selling tactics; answers phone calls and pages courteously and without delay. ? Enhances sales opportunities by implementing efficient and appropriate techniques to prepare, house, revolve, display and promote merchandise. ? Ensures compliance with predetermined regulations, such as Weights and Measures, sanitation, and safe work practices. ? The worker must maintain the cleanliness and sterilization of the work and shopping space as per WFM's guidelines and safety protocols. They should also ensure that equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly to avoid contamination. ? Performs the designated tasks for the opening, mid, and closing shifts and ensures the precision of pricing and signage. ? Swift action is necessary in relaying safety risks and infractions. ? Accomplishes any other tasks assigned by the leaders at the store, regional, or national level.

Desired Work Experiences:
? The company is looking for individuals who have at least six months to one year of retail experience.

The job requires the employee to be alert and maintain a high level of concentration while performing tasks:
? A prerequisite for this position is to be able to lift a weight of 50 pounds.
? The amount of time required to stand or walk during an 8-hour work day can range from 6-8 hours.
? The many actions of our hands include such functions as grasping, fine manipulation, and using force to either move objects or exert control over them.
? Successfully carrying out work requires the use of particular bodily movements, including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, which are all important for optimal performance.
? Having contact with cleaning chemicals validated by the FDA.
? Refrigerators use a thermostat to regulate their internal temperatures within the recommended range of 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
? Skillfulness in adapting to work efficiently in any climate, be it wet or dry.
? Capability to work during off-peak hours such as Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays upon requirement.
? Skilled in the usage of tools and equipment, such as box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
? Ladders may be necessary for this task.
