Responsibilities
? Provides skilled nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process as appropriate for LPNs in the assigned area(s).

? Exhibits a commitment to professionalism, civility, teamwork, and customer service while undertaking all tasks and interactions with others.

? Exhibits knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to the specific job duties, patient care, and safety as applicable to assigned area(s).

? Operates and maintains equipment to departmental standards as applicable to assigned area(s).
,
? Maintains nursing standards of care and executes appropriate provider orders.
,
? Performs a standardized focused assessment or reassessment of patients at regular intervals appropriate for the condition of the patient under the direction of the RN and as ordered by the provider.

? Administers medications, treatment, and provider-specific care to patients in compliance with nursing policies/procedures, LPN scope of practice, and as applicable to assigned area(s).

? Communicates all appropriate and critical changes in the patient's condition, status, and findings to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
,
? Documents all clinical findings and required regulatory mandates in the medical chart in compliance with policies and procedures or as defined by regulatory requirements.

? Contributes to maintaining an updated, individualized plan of care that includes goals, interventions, medications, and visit frequency orders as applicable to assigned area(s).

? Maintains a thorough knowledge of infection control procedures and strictly adheres to policies and procedures.

Requirements
? Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.

? Current BLS certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).

? Previous experience in a similar position preferred.

? Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

? Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

? Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
