Position Summary To develop and deliver decision support tools, reporting applications, insights and business intelligence based on advanced analyses and studies to support health care policy, benefits and operational decision making by Aetna internal and external constituents. This involves extracting, collecting, analyzing and interpreting health, utilization and financial data from many sources to address business questions regarding population health management, health and economic outcomes, quality of healthcare, healthcare program and product design, healthcare provider network design and other business needs. These activities require advanced technical, analytic and consultative skills, extensive knowledge of health care data and information systems, health care benefits, health care financing and health care delivery systems. Responsible for the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. Acts as the analytic team lead for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks, providing individual mentoring in support of company objectives. Required Qualifications 6+ year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools Proficiency using SAS/SQL/Python/R for data retrieval, manipulation, and transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data integrity Ability to navigate effectively in a Linux/UNIX environment using basic commands & functions Excellent communication and presentation skills Well-versed in data analysis and data transformation. Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability. Strong collaboration and communication skills (written/oral) with the ability to communicate analyses, technical ideas, and results to non-technical clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams. Excellent knowledge using Excel, Access, Visio, Word and/or PowerPoint. Willingness to understand customers' needs and to create business strategies around them. Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of healthcare data analytics experience. Proficient using Informatica. Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. Experience Working with JIRA, SharePoint. Experience using version control software such as Vault, Gitlab. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Platform, and their application in healthcare environments. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.00 - $119,340.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
