Job Description

Netflix is seeking a dedicated and experienced External Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team. As a part of the External Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and superior support for our global customer base. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role


• Strong knowledge of networking, internet protocols, and cloud-based technologies


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Familiarity with troubleshooting software and hardware issues


• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to external customers via various communication channels


• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Netflix streaming services


• Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems


• Documenting and tracking customer issues using our support ticketing system


• Contributing to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles


• Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
