MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
? Minumum of 3 years experience with reading/interpreting fiber construction as-builts and fiber splicing cut sheets or schematics.
? Minumum of 3 years experience with modifying and creating linear and point features and attributes from documentation in VZ-3GIS or similar GIS application.
? Able to work independently on multiple projects within organizational practices and guidelines.
DESIRED SKILLS:
? Conduct Research to locate and obtain existing feature sets.
? Provide GIS (Geographic Information Systems) analysis and services.
? Prepare custom maps and diagrams from GIS data.
? Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data.
? Analytical Skills - The ability to resolve problems associated with given task.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
? Requires High school degree and 4 years or more job-related experience or degree in related field.
? A combination of education and applicable work experience may be acceptable.
? ArcGIS certification a plus.

responsibilities: ? Fiber plant design, and general construction knowledge. ? Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry. ? strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - Comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc. ? Knowledge of the network plant and local practices. ? Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases. ? Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
