What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Specialized academic instruction for students with disabilities
• Case management duties including scheduling and holding IEP meetings
• Communication virtually via video conference, teleconference, phone calls, email, and instant messaging
• Participate in-person for state testing at a location near your residence
• Manage a caseload of students across various grade levels

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Permanent California Residence (Must currently reside in Placer County)
• Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate or the new Mild/Moderate Support Needs AND/OR Moderate/Severe Disabilities or the new Extensive Support Needs
• California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC
• Credential Copy, English Learner Authorization, Letter of Introduction, Resume
• Problem-solving skills, use of technology in the classroom, and strengths and weaknesses of online classroom platforms

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• 0-3 years of experience in online education or special education
• Experience with ELL students in a virtual setting
