Program Manager, People Technology
We are helping our client hire a Program Manager, People Technology, who will spearhead projects that optimize our Workday platform and other HR technologies while driving seamless change management and effective communication to ensure adoption and success.
The role is fully remote however, conversion is possible and the Consultant will need to be within Durham, NC for the FTE position - The manager prefers someone who can work CST or EST hours (not required) - The manager is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Program Manager to join the People Technology team. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in project management, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of Workday systems.
Responsibilities: ? Change Management: Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies across the organization. ? Communication Leadership: Create and deliver clear, tailored communications to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment, transparency, and understanding of program goals and progress. ? Program Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of People Technology programs, driving alignment with business objectives and delivering high-impact results. ? Workday Implementation: Optimize and enhance Workday implementations, leveraging prior experience in large, complex organizations. ? Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee detailed project plans, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery of initiatives. ? Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between People, IT, and business leaders, gathering requirements, prioritizing needs, and fostering cross-functional alignment. ? Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver measurable outcomes. ? Technical Oversight: Ensure system changes are implemented effectively, minimizing disruptions to software, hardware, and network components. ? Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, purchasing, and financial analysis, applying a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. ? Tool Utilization: Use tools like Google Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Lucid Charts to document, plan, and communicate project progress effectively.
Requirements: ? Workday Full-Suite ERP Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and optimizing in large, complex organizations. ? Project Management Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of project management experience, including leadership and supervisory responsibilities. ? Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of People Technology systems, including Workday and ServiceNow ? Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles related to project and department budgets, purchasing, and financial analysis. ? Tools Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Workday, and Lucid Charts for project planning and communication. ? Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. ? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. ? Location: Remote, US-based candidates only, with a preference for CST or EST time zones. ? Contractor Role: This is a contractor position with the potential for full-time conversion. ? No Vendors: External vendor candidates will not be considered.
