SUMMARY: We are looking for a Release Train Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. We need someone onsite day 1 as we are in the office 3 days/week. Former experience with banking and financial services background is a must. We are looking for full time/salaried employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Coordinate and facilitate ART events including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt sessions. ? Ensure alignment across teams to meet delivery objectives. ? Act as a mentor for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile practices. ? Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and commitment to excellence. - ? Manage the overall program backlog, prioritizing features and enablers to ensure effective delivery. ? Track progress and metrics, reporting on program performance to stakeholders. ? Identify potential risks and dependencies across teams, facilitating their resolution. ? Work proactively to mitigate risks that may impact outcomes. ? Promote and implement processes that enhance quality and efficiency in delivery. Facilitate regular retrospectives and post-mortems to foster learning. ? Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. ? Ensure that stakeholders are updated on project statuses, concerns, and achievements.
QUALIFICATIONS: ? Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration). ? Minimum of 6+ years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Release Train Engineer or similar role. ? Previous background in Banking and Financial Services sector ? Proven experience leading complex projects in a dynamic setting. ? Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). ? Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or similar). ? SAFe RTE certification or equivalent (preferred) ? Experience working in a leadership capacity on a Scaled Agile framework.
