Key Responsibilities
? Identify and procure high-quality raw materials essential for our pet food recipes, including meat, poultry, vitamins, and packaging.
? Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and competitive pricing, with opportunities to attend industry conferences for networking.
? Uphold stringent quality standards for all ingredients to maintain our reputation for excellence.
? Accurately generate purchase orders to support seamless production operations.
? Collaborate effectively with production, quality assurance, and finance teams to ensure cohesive workflow.
? Analyze procurement data to uncover trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and refine our processes.
? Ensure compliance with all purchasing regulations and practices.

Required Skills
? Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent experience) in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
? Demonstrated expertise in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
? Proficient negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
? Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software is advantageous.
? Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
? Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
? Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
? Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the food manufacturing context.
? A track record of successfully negotiating contracts with suppliers is a plus.
? Knowledge of import/export regulations may be beneficial (if applicable).
