Key Responsibilities

? Managing grant finances, including tracking expenditures, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
? Ensuring compliance with grant terms, regulatory standards, and accounting principles.
? Collaborating with subcontractors to clarify and uphold grant requirements.
? Providing training and direction on grant accounting, financial management, and compliance.
? Conducting financial analyses and offering insights to improve the efficiency of grant programs.
? Assisting with grant applications, renewals, and closures, ensuring meticulous financial management.

Required Skills
? A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is advantageous.
? At least 5 years of experience in grant accounting, ideally with consulting exposure.
? Proficiency in grant management, compliance, and reporting standards.
? Strong skills in financial forecasting and budgeting.
? Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and offer actionable recommendations.
? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to convey financial concepts clearly.
? Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
? Exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and clients.

Qualifications
? A bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
? Preferred certification: CPA or equivalent.
