What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Verify member eligibility and health plan benefits using established guidelines
• Communicate with providers regarding authorizations, modifications, and denials
• Monitor patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Prepare denial letters for review by Medical Director or Nurse Reviewer(s)
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for processing authorizations

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Strong analytical skills to review compliance documentation and performance metrics
• Experience in delegation coordination and compliance auditing
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• Professional communication skills and attention to detail
• Availability to work Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience in healthcare-related roles or authorization processes
• Familiarity with Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and quality improvement initiatives
• Previous experience in a remote work environment
