Job Title: Non-QM Loan Specialist - Remote | Work From Home

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled Non-QM Loan Specialist to become an integral part of our team. This role requires a subject matter expert to collaborate with our sales partners, meticulously reviewing comprehensive loan requests and scenarios submitted by brokers and Account Executives. Your expertise will be crucial in providing informed recommendations for loan submissions, all while adhering to our established service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
? Maintain a thorough understanding of Non-QM guidelines, products, and requirements.
? Analyze income on bank statement loans and construct scenarios that assist brokers in obtaining underwriting approval while ensuring borrowers receive optimal product options.
? Recommend suitable loans for submission to the Non-QM underwriting team, adeptly identifying loans that are not appropriate for submission.
? Provide support and training to both internal and external sales teams on the benefits, niches, and guidelines associated with our Non-QM products to improve originations.
? Manage and oversee the pipeline and scenarios, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and maintain a positive outlook regarding our offerings.
? Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

? Effective time management capabilities and computer literacy.
? Experience in analyzing, structuring, and documenting complex loan scenarios pertaining to various borrower situations, considering income, assets, and credit.
? Passionate about creating positive lending experiences and fostering business opportunities through training.
? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in managing expectations during challenging situations.
? Adaptable to dynamic environments.

Qualifications
? A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the mortgage industry, with a focus on sales, account management, or underwriting.
? Proven history of working collaboratively with brokers, loan officers, processors, and operations staff.
