RN Medical Surg Floor Nurse

As an integral member of Centers Healthcare, the RN/Floor Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients on the designated floor/unit. This role requires clinical expertise, compassion, and strong communication skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Floor Nurse Responsibilities: ? Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgeries or managing medical conditions in our medical-surgical unit. ? Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs to ensure patients' comfort and recovery. ? Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, eating, and mobility, as needed. ? Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. ? Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education about their health conditions and treatment plans. ? Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. ? Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions in medical-surgical nursing through ongoing education and professional development.

Floor Nurse Qualifications: ? Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN). ? Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. ?
