About the position
The ROI Data Entry Administrator is responsible for retrieving and logging medical records requests into the ROI system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and facility guidelines. This role involves processing client requests efficiently, maintaining communication with team members and clients, and ensuring the accuracy of medical records released.
Responsibilities
? Use electronic data system to process information.

? Ensure timely completion of client requests to prevent backlog.

? Communicate with team members and client representatives as needed to resolve issues.

? Make decisions about what specific record components to release/make available.

? Review and apply HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes.

? Perform other duties as assigned.

? Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

? Complete release of information requests with complete accuracy and quality checks.

? Retrieve patient's medical charts and pull medical records accurately according to requests.

? Electronically transmit medical records to processing operations.

? Work within the scope of position and direction, accepting additional tasks as needed.

? Record hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in the electronic time keeping system.

? Adhere to productivity standards for each client's work as assigned.
Requirements
? High School diploma or equivalent required.

? Proficient computer skills.

? Accurate data entry skills.

? Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments.

? Experience retrieving information from computer database is helpful.

? Dependable with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
