Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) creates unified digital experiences for prospects and members across the entire customer lifecycle, powered by data and supports AXP growth by designing best-in-class digital & data capabilities and platforms.

The objective of the EDDS Control Management Governance team is to establish Operational Risk and controls strategy for the EDDS Business Unit (BU), and set up a foundational governance structure that ensures operational risks are identified, assessed, and managed in compliance with enterprise Operational Risk Management programs and reporting.

EDDS is looking for a Senior Manager of Control Management (CM) Reporting & Insights, focused on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

The Senior Manager, Control Management Reporting will:
? Support risk management practices within the business.
? Aggregate reporting, approvals/exceptions and support 'change-the-function' activities for the BU including risk appetite reporting and managing escalations.
? Support sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterprise.
? Risk horizon scan and compile thematic risk reporting (levels, trends, causes) to provide actionable insights on current risk levels, emerging trends and root causes.
? Advise BU with identification of risks and spotting areas where product changes or improved controls may be required.
? Review risk dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) for ongoing monitoring.
? Facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework across BUs through regular communication.
? Manage risk and controls governance forums for EDDS, interfacing with org-wide governance processes and committees (e.g., Operational Risk Management Committee) and share insights and lessons learned across forums.
? Secretary for EDDS Risk Forum. Solicit and inform agenda for the forum, working with relevant teams in creating and socializing material.

Required Qualifications: ? 4 Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function). ? Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities. ? Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. ? Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards. ? Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: ? Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous. ? Experience in at least one of the following:

o Translating operational risk strategy and appetite into execution guidelines.

o Review the tracking and identifying of issues with Key Risk Indicator (KRI) limits and risk appetite to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed thresholds.

o Oversee the implementation of the operational risk governance frameworks.

o Communicating and ensuring understanding and adherence to operational risk procedures and standards.

o Manage the operational risk exam management processes.

Strong enterprise risk management experience

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
