Position Overview

We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with various learning, mental, emotional, or physical disabilities, as well as collaborating with their families and faculty members.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with students who have diverse needs, ensuring they receive the support they require to thrive.

Collaborate with families and faculty members as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, contributing to the development and implementation of student education plans.

Lead the implementation of individual education plans across all school settings, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.

Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure compliance and maximize student benefit.

Provide research-based individual and group instruction tailored to support both the curriculum and IEP goals and objectives.

Conduct special education evaluations and reevaluations to assess student needs accurately.

Provide direction, supervision, and evaluation of paraprofessionals as needed.

Foster effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and caregivers to address student needs comprehensively.

Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by the school district to support the role effectively.

Requirements

Valid New Hampshire licenses and certifications for Special Education teaching.

Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, including participation in IEP teams, with a strong emphasis on collaboration.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong Organizational Abilities To Manage Multiple Responsibilities Effectively.
