Position Description:
The Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper is responsible for all day to day accounting/bookkeeping functions for multiple clients. Must be well-versed in Quickbooks Online; day to day transaction review, building of the Chart of Accounts and month-end reconcililations will be the core of your resposibilities. Position may include generating invoices, generating and submitting sales tax returns, generating financial reporting, reviewing and approving expense reports, all account receivable and account payable duties, some front end ?soft? collections.

This is a remote role so you will have a high level of autonomy to crush your goals. We have very clear expectations so you will know where you stand at all times. You must have high-speed internet and a dedicated office space. You also must be available to work during business hours Monday through Friday.
This position is a full time salaried position. We want to make sure we are a good fit for each other and that you have the knowledge you need to be successful.

How You?ll Contribute:
? Bookkeeping services for multiple clients including bank deposits, reconciling monthly credit card, bank, and investment and loan statements
? Prepare and file sales tax
? Month-end close process
? Prepare and post journal entries
? Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
? Assist with answering questions and providing information for tax returns
? Assist with year-end close process
? Provide financial reports as needed
? Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
? Match purchase orders with invoices (where applicable)
? Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
? Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
? Pay vendors and subcontractors and track bank account balances
? Reconcile/maintain/input data from various bank accounts and credit cards
? Able to do general ledger entries
? Post transfers from various accounts
? Properly record payroll and employee/employer benefits in Quickbooks
? Understand and implement A/R and A/P processes
? Experience and knowledge in bookkeeping clean-up in QBO preferred
? Other duties as assigned
What You?ll Bring
? 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
? Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
? Resourcefulness, an attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and showing initiative
? Quickbooks Pro-Advisor Certified along with experience in other cloud accounting apps and Google drive, preferred
? Proficient in Excel/GSuite
? Ability to interact with clients, look and speak in a professional manner
? Be on-time, energetic, and ready to take on the world
? Your video turned on for all meetings always, no exceptions
? College degree preferred
