We are seeking a Staff Data Analyst (Marketing) to be at the forefront of Toast's data-informed growth strategy. About this roll* (Responsibilities)
? Partner with Marketing leadership to transform analytical insights into clear narratives and actionable growth strategies
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment on upsell success metrics
? Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track upsell performance and marketing campaign effectiveness
? Conduct in-depth analyses to identify key drivers of customer upsell behavior
? Leverage advanced analytical/statistical techniques to predict upsell propensity and optimize targeting
? Design and evaluate experiments to test hypotheses and quantify business impact
? Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting
? Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing analytics to drive innovation within the team
? Mentor team members and foster a culture of data-informed decision making across the organization

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
? Prior experience working in marketing and/or product analytics at a technology company (or similar environment)
? Seasoned in transforming intricate/complex data into clear, actionable strategies for diverse audiences
? Adept at using SQL and Python/R for data modeling and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions)
? Extensive familiarity with funnel optimization, customer segmentation, cohort analyses, and related analytical techniques
? Proven expertise in recommending, implementing, and analyzing different types of marketing attribution models

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
