Location(s): United States of America City/Cities: Atlanta Travel Required: 00% - 25% Relocation Provided: No Job Posting End Date: January 31, 2025 Shift: Job Description Summary: Position Overview: The Coca-Cola?s Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Global Policy & Sustainability Intern will be part of our Global Policy & Sustainability team within the Global Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) function and be responsible for assisting with projects related to the company?s packaging sustainability initiatives. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities: ? Assist the team in developing and submitting voluntary disclosures related to the company?s plastic packaging, across various reporting platforms, such as the Ellen MacArthur Foundation?s Global Commitment. ? Lead an assessment of the company?s reporting on plastic packaging and provide recommendations to improve data gathering for key voluntary disclosures. ? Help prepare for internal and external meetings, events, workshops, and conferences including drafting briefing documents to ensure our teams are prepared. ? Communicate deadlines, events, updates, and other internship-related information to associates using internal communication platform and other tools. Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related discipline with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025. Functional Skills: ? Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate complex issues. ? Ability to manage and process large data sets. ? Detail oriented. ? Ability to work cross functionally with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team, stakeholders and partners. ? Passionate about sustainability issues with an aptitude to learn quickly. ? Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Education Requirements ? Currently pursuing a Master?s and not graduating before December 2025.
