Job Title: System Data Architect

Location: Santa Clara, CA...

As a System Data Architect in our team, you will be an integral part of the team in Operations building the Data Platform which will turn data into information leading to insights and business results.

What you ll be doing:

Implement the Data platform for Operations including Chips, Boards and Data Center

Evaluate cloud tools/services and design the data platform architecture

Design and implement a highly scalable data lake

Design and implement streaming pipelines to handle data storage and real-time analytics

Design data processing frameworks

Design and implement framework modules to extract data from various source systems, validate the integrity, apply business transformation, and store data in the Data Lake (AWS, Azure, others)

Enable a self-service and Machine Learning platform for individual business units

Be responsible for the Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and AI&Client Operations to facilitate faster time to market solution for the users

Work with partner and team members in project planning, resource estimation, delivery management and project execution

What we need to see:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or Information System, or equivalent experience with programming knowledges (i.e Python, Java, Database architectures, etc)

10+ years of relevant experience

Experience building large and geographically dispersed infrastructure supporting business-critical cloud & on-premises services

Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role

A practitioner of data architecture that has designed, created, deployed, and led an organization s data architecture

Defined how the data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using the data or processing the data

Operational experience at scale - designing and operating highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems using best-of-breed technologies like containers, APIs, Data Platform, etc.

Experienced with Azure, AWS, and Spark or Ray environments

Experience with SAP systems integration, Datamart, Business objects, Tableau and SQL is a plus

Ability to connect with all team members successfully and effectively

High energy with positive problem-solving attitude, and multi-task and strong organization skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge in operational processes in semi-chips, boards, systems, and servers with a view of the data landscape
