UX Research Study Moderator

Must Haves:
? Bachelors Degree
? Experience moderating user research studies, facilitating training groups or teaching sessions.
? Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams proficiency

Preferred
? Previous roles in UX research, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field.
? Familiarity with usability testing tools and platforms.
? Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Day to Day:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UX Research Study Moderator to join our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate user research sessions, ensuring participants are comfortable and engaged while gathering valuable insights to inform design decisions. In these remote research studies, participants will be using wearable technology for the health industry.

As a moderator, you will run multiple daily sessions (2 hours each) to train participants on the health device, ask series of questions and document the findings of the study.

Key Responsibilities: ? Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and focus groups based on established research protocols. ? Guide participants through tasks, asking follow-up questions and probing for insights as needed. ? Ensure sessions run smoothly by managing timing, recording, and troubleshooting any technical issues. ? Take detailed notes and document participant feedback accurately during and after sessions. ? Collaborate with UX researchers to achieve research objectives and methodologies. ? Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor to create a positive participant experience.

Schedule Details: Full Time 40 hours preferred
? Shifts between 8am EST ? 11pm EST (can base it off time zones)
? Training sessions are in 2 hour increments: 8-11est; 11-2; 2-5; 5-8pm 8-11pm EST Can take on as many sessions as they want with one of them being either 8 AM ET or 8 PM ET
? Remote Works Locations (near major cities)

Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
