What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Devise virtual methods to create and maintain a school community
• Provide diagnostic, prescriptive, and evaluative services for identified students
• Conduct parent conferences, review curriculum, and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and other teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans
• Assess student learning styles and modify curricula as needed for special education students
What is Required (Qualifications):
• Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
• Three years of teaching experience with a preference for online instruction
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience in Computer Science, Business & Finance, Marketing, ASL, French, German, Spanish, Physical Education, Health, Communication Applications, or Technology Applications
• Ability to learn new technology tools quickly
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
