Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithm development, coding, data modeling, and data architecture, with a passion for applying innovative data science techniques to solve complex defense-related problems. As a Data Scientist Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and optimize processes.

Responsibilities: ? Apply AI/ML modeling techniques in solving many types of problems ? Develop and design algorithmic solutions for automation projects ? Design, develop, and implement data science solutions to address... defense-related challenges ? Utilize advanced coding skills to manipulate, analyze, and visualize large and complex datasets ? Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights and make predictions ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, gather relevant data, and define project objectives ? Design and optimize data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient data storage, processing, and analysis ? Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and defense technology ? Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports

Requirements

Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Masters Degree preferred) ? Minimum of 5 years of experience (10+ years experience preferred) ? Experience with many types of AI/ML modeling methods and algorithms for solving practical problems ? Expertise with DoD related domains, such as cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or military operations ? Proven experience in coding (Python, R, Java, etc.) and software development, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis ? Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques ? Experience with data architecture, database design, and data warehousing concepts ? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment ? Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams ? Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with just the right amount of guidance ? Must be a US citizen ? Must pass a background check and drug screening
