Contract Part-time Frontend Engineer
Planetary is looking for an experienced part-time (20-30 hours/week) frontend engineer for ongoing work across a number of exciting client projects.
As a part of Planetary, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of technologies, dive in to complex problems, and develop valuable user interfaces. You'll be a part of smart, strategic, and enthusiastic teams, able to fully exercise your development and technical skills across a multitude of projects.
This is a contract role. The hourly rate offered is $50?75/hr. You will be needed for between 20 and 30 hours per week, on an ongoing basis. Rate will depend on experience. (Salary listed is the annualized full-time equivalent.)

Requirements
You must have the following experience:
? At least 3 years of experience working with Next.js, at least 5 years with React, and at least 8 years with Javascript.
? Self-motivated and excited about finding technical challenges in any project.
? Familiar with the latest tools and technologies for frontend web development.
? Located in North, Central, or South America.
Additionally, you are:
? Excited to contribute to and have a meaningful impact on a close-knit team.
? Able to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and pro-active approach required.
? Able to attend meetings during NYC (Eastern Time) work hours.
? Fluent in English at a professional level.
Responsibilities
? Planning and executing against a backlog of development tasks on a sprint-based schedule.
? Estimating levels of effort and rough timelines for completion.
? Reviewing the code of teammates, providing feedback, and identifying issues or adjustments.
