Customer Service Representative
JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative
SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for appropriately communicating customer requirements to the management and production team, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Serves as the primary contact for customers, is responsible for making judgments and discretionary decisions that effect the production of the organization and effectively communicates those judgments and decisions to the customer. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintenance of the appropriate records including job tickets. Monitors incoming jobs from start to finish meeting quality standards and deadlines. The Customer Service Representative is responsible to ensure that adequate lead times are maintained to facilitate timely shipping and delivery of customers production materials.
TASKS AND DUTIES
? Receive all questions and concerns from customers. Provide solutions to problems.
? Ensure customer supplied components are available on time to meet production schedule.
? Attend scheduling meetings and communicate with co-workers the status of jobs, any unique circumstances relating to jobs, etc.
? Serve as a back-up to other CSRs.
? Check all information received from the customer for accuracy and completeness. Collect all necessary information from customer and previous job to complete the job.
? Communicate with customer or Sales Representative to avoid errors or guess work.
? Schedule jobs to meet customer?s expectations. Traffic jobs to ensure deadlines will be met. Inform customer and Sales Representative of any changes in delivery dates.
? Provide in-house support for outside Sales Representatives.
? Keep job ticket information complete, accurate and current.
? Make follow-up call to customer regarding shipping information and other information.
? Answer phones and emails as needed.
? Provide samples to customers and arrange delivery of packages to customers as needed.
? Maintain clean, neat and orderly workstation.
? Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
? Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
? Cheerfully greet and talk to customers. Obtain and provide information to them on delivery of product.
? Keep the Production Manager informed as to any potential customer problems or complaints.
Performs any other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time as needed in production
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
