Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours 11:00am to 19:00 Monday thru Friday.

Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for a third party logistics company located in Clayton!

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing mechanical and other maintenance support to maintain the facility and all equipment. The technician uses the electronic work order system to establish and maintain priority for their activities. This position provide daily maintenance support for all warehouse related equipment in and around the warehouse facility. They consistently demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems as well as resolve any other mechanical and/or technical problems.

Education Requirement for Maintenance Technicians:
? High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technicians:
? Ability to troubleshoot and understand basic mechanical components.
? Forklift certification and basic understanding of forklift components.
? Basic welding skills.
? Basic computer skills.

Assignment Duties for Maintenance Technicians:
? Know and follow safety and GMP?s.
? Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
? Performs schedules PM?s according to equipment specification.
? Repair and maintain equipment in and around the warehouse.
? Follows protocol for LOTO and Hot Work.
? Work overtime hours as needed to meet objectives.
