Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online Expertise

We are currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper, Accountant, or Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who excel in organized and high-paced environments and possess substantial experience with QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 10-20 clients to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their financial records. Your key tasks will include:
? Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
? Reviewing and categorizing financial transactions
? Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in client records
? Managing bill payments, loan tracking, and invoicing
? Filing 1099s and calculating sales tax
? Processing payroll filings and reporting
? Maintaining comprehensive financial transaction records
? Submitting daily reports to your supervisor
? Accurately tracking time spent on each client's work
? Utilizing internal software to document client interactions
? Performing additional bookkeeping and accounting tasks as necessary

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet these qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent ? 1-3 years of practical experience with QuickBooks Online (required) ? 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience managing multiple clients ? (Preferred) Experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant ? Willingness to engage in additional in-house training as necessary
