Job Description:

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Behavioral Health Nurse to join our expanding telehealth team. This role offers the flexibility and convenience of remote work while providing essential mental health services to our diverse clientele. As a Telehealth Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in improving the mental well-being of our patients by offering comprehensive assessments, treatments, and follow-ups via telecommunication technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives the highest standard of care. You will utilize your expertise in behavioral health to deliver evidence-based interventions and support for individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues. Furthermore, you will be a key player in promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical practice standards.
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations via telehealth.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.
