This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.
? M-F 8-5 pm EST
? 6 month contract
? $70-$80 hourly
Key Responsibilities
? We are seeking a talented Google Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with our existing GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes environment
? Assist with the existing GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes environment
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions
? Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
? Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads
? Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
? Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability issues
? Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash
? Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for incident resolution
? Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and scalability of the cloud infrastructure
? Document and communicate technical solutions and procedures to stakeholders
What you?ll need to succeed
? At least 3 years of relevant experience with GCP including Security, Setup and Networking.
? Good knowledge and experience with Terraform including developing multiple pipelines/plans to provision multiple resources in GCP.
? Good knowledge and experience with Kubernetes including setup, Security, patching, administration, etc..
? Strong understanding and experience with policies within GCP, including bindings, members, roles, etc..
? Good understanding of GitLab and it?s components.
? Good troubleshooting skills.
? Good understanding of and adherence to Change Management processes.
? Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
? Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal
Nice to Have:
? Relevant certifications are a plus.
? Experience MigratingCopying date to GCP for analytics.
? Rapid7 experience is a plus.
