Job Summary...

As a Materials Handling Specialist at DHL, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of materials within the warehouse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that materials are properly received, stored, and prepared for shipment according to company standards and procedures.

Handling Specialist Key Responsibilities: ? Receive incoming materials and verify against packing slips or purchase orders. ? Safely transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. ? Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and placement of materials in designated storage areas. ? Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting and stock checks. ? Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Skills and Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations preferred. ? Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., forklift certification is a plus). ? Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and completing tasks. ? Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.

Working Conditions:
? Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures.
? Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
