Job Description

Amazon is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team as Package Delivery Drivers in New York, NY. As an Amazon Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive their packages on time and in excellent condition. You will be responsible for delivering packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery destinations. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Our Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and represent Amazon in the community. You will be given the tools and training you need to succeed, including a company vehicle, GPS, and a smartphone. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and excellent benefits. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old


• Valid driver? license with a clean driving record


• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs


• Must pass a background check and drug test


• Excellent time-management and organizational skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Load packages into the delivery vehicle


• Deliver packages to customers’ specified locations


• Follow delivery instructions and routes


• Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers professionally


• Ensure the safety of the delivery vehicle and packages


• Report any issues or delays to the dispatch team


• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Educational Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience

Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required. We provide comprehensive training.
